Otoplasty

Probably no other physical characteristic cries out for facial plastic surgery more than protruding ears, even if the ears are only mildly distorted the condition can lead to self-consciousness. We commonly associate large or protruding ears with children, but it is never too late to address this area of concern. This surgery can be performed at any age after the ears have reached full size, usually around five to six years of age. Through the use of well-hidden incisions the ear cartilage can be contoured and sculpted to improve the profile and protrusion of the ears creating a subtle, natural appearance.
